The Tranky Doo
The Tranky Doo is one of the three most common routines from the early era with the Shim Sham and the Big Apple. It is performed widely and well know by many dancers.

History
The Tranky Doo was choreographed by Frankie Manning while he was in the Congaroos.
And there’s a bunch of writeup on the origins on authenticjazzdance by Harri Heinila.
Frankie eventually created a variant which is now known as the Frankie Doo.
